Today you fly from Cairo to Luxor. Your tour guide will meet you in Luxor and will be happy to assist you with the formalities on the Nile and bring you to your Nile ship. After lunch, visit the Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple. Let yourself be enchanted by the impressive temple complexes Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple. Surrounded by over sized statues and columns, both the Karnak and Luxor temples will find a permanent place in your memory. The Luxor temple was dedicated to the godly trinity of Amun, Mut and Chons. Dinner and overnight stay take place on the Nile ship.
5th day of travel: Thebes West – Valley of the Kings – Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut – Colossal of Memnon
In the Valley of the Kings, the first highlight of the Nile cruise, the journey into the afterlife began for the legendary Tutankhamun and some other pharaohs. Visit some of the tombs in the Valley of the Kings and then continue the trip to Thebes West with a visit to the Colossal of Memnons and the Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut (Deir el-Bahari). Around noon the ship leaves for Edfu. Lunch, dinner and overnight on the Nile ship.
Day 6: Edfu – Kom Ombo
The ship is heading for Kom Ombo today, but not without giving you the opportunity of another excursion in Edfu. In Edfu, a temple was dedicated to the falcon-headed god Horus, which is still surprisingly well preserved after thousands of years. With these impressions in your luggage, you continue your Nile cruise towards Kom Ombo, where you pay a visit to the local double temple in Kom Ombo. In Kom Ombo, two temples were dedicated to the deities Sobek and Haroeris, but they form an architectural unit. Then continue to Aswan and overnight.

The Aswan Dam, Lake Nasser and a tour of the unfinished obelisk in the rose granite quarry are on the program today. We can recommend the optional excursion to Abu Simbel with the best recommendations. Visit the temple of Pharaoh Ramses II and his wife Nefertari and return to the ship at noon. Afterwards, the subsequent sailing trip to Lord Kitchener Island, where you visit the botanical garden, promises pure relaxation. The rest of the day then leaves you time for yourself.
