Overnight in Alexandria Day 4: Fort Kait Bey – Roman Amphitheater – Montazah Park Alexandria used to be the lighthouse, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. Fort Kait Bey, which was built in the 15th century, is located here today. From there you have a wonderful view of the sea. You will then see the Greco-Roman Museum, which was uncovered in 1964 and in which you can find relics from the tombs in and around Alexandria. The day is rounded off with a walk through the green Montazah Park. Overnight in Alexandria 5th day of travel: Pompeii column, catacombs of Kom-el-Shukafa, Kom-ed-Dik Today you will visit the Pompeii column from Greco-Roman times in Alexandria and then the catacombs of Kom-el Shukafa from the 2nd century AD.
