Day 1: Starting point – Cairo
Departure to Cairo. Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 2: Cairo
Breakfast in the hotel. During the morning, visit the site of the pyramids of Chephren, Cheops and Mykerinos (optional entry to a pyramid at local tariff) and the Great Sphinx and the valley temple. Free time in the afternoon with the possibility to take part in optional tours. Dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Cairo
Breakfast in the hotel. In the morning, visit the Egyptian Museum, which houses the largest collection of Pharaonic monuments of Ancient Egypt, and a room that contains the treasures of the tomb of Pharaoh Tutankhamun. Next we visit the Chan el-Chalili bazaar, one of the most famous and oldest bazaars in the Middle East. Free time in the afternoon with the possibility to take part in optional visits. Dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Cairo – Luxor
Breakfast in the hotel. Transfer to the airport and flight to Luxor. Arrival and transfer to the motor ship. Dinner on the cruise ship. Night on board.
Day 5: Luxor – Edfu cruise
Breakfast on board. In the morning, explore the main sites of Luxor. You will visit the hinterland of the desert mountains, where the Valley of the Kings with the tombs of the Pharaohs is located, the temple of Medinet Habu, panoramic views of the Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut and the magnificent Colossi of Memnon. Lunch on the ship. Drive to Edfu with possibility to see the Esna lock and dinner on the cruise ship. Night on board.
Day 6: Edfu – Kom Ombo – Aswan
Breakfast on board. In the morning you visit the temple of the god Horus, one of the best preserved Egyptians. The visit (depending on availability) is carried out on Kaleschen (typical horse carriages of the place). Lunch on board and drive to Kom Ombo. Arrival and visit to the Kom Ombo temple, which keeps important information about the medicine and politics of the old society. Drive to Aswan. Dinner on the cruise ship. Night on board.
Day 7: Aswan
Breakfast on board. Free morning with the option to take an optional visit to the Abu Simbel temples by bus, offering picnic breakfast, return, and lunch on the ship. Then visit the Aswan high dam and Felucca trip on the Nile. Dinner on the cruise ship. Night on board.
Day 8: Aswan – Cairo – Alexandria
Breakfast on board. Transfer to the airport and flight to Cairo. Arrival and transfer to Alexandria. Arrival and visit of the Pompeius column, which was built in the late 4th century in honor of the emperor Diocletian. Continue to Qaitibay Citadel (with panoramic views), a large defensive fortress built by Sultan Qaitbay in 1480, the 1st and 2nd century catacombs of Kom el Shukafa and finally to the famous Alexandria Library. Transfer to the hotel, arrival and overnight.
Day 9: Alexandria
Breakfast in the hotel. Free time with the possibility to take part in interesting tours.
Day 10: Alexandria
Breakfast in the hotel. Dive to visit the sunken Alexandria, which was founded by Alexander the Great, the so-called city of a thousand castles and other legendary cities of the Egyptian region of Egypt that sank into the water and mud because of the enormous weight of the magnificent temples and the ground Buildings of that time, including Cleopatra’s Palace, in the legendary Portus Magnus of Alexandria, the largest center of power in the world at that time.
Day 11: Alexandria – Cairo
Breakfast in the hotel. Transfer to Cairo at the specified time. Arrival and rest of the day at leisure. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 12: Cairo – departure point
Breakfast in the hotel. Transfer to the airport. Flight to destination. Arrivals. End of the trip and our services.
